WILL RUN WITH A PHOTO ON WEDNESDAY

DRACUT - M. Denise Abisi, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her Dracut home following a courageous 2 year battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Born and raised in Lowell, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Gainley and Grace (Kfoury) Abisi. Denise was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1965.

For more than 25 years she excelled in the Safety Industry as a Sales Representative and Regional Director. At the time of her retirement in 2004 she was one of 3 Regional Directors in the United States for AO Safety and was responsible for operations throughout the East Coast and Puerto Rico. During her career Denise was known as a hard working, independent woman who was an inspiration and an exceptional example for woman in the workplace for which she received numerous rewards.

She was a parishioner of St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lowell, MA.

Denise loved spending time with her family and friends, she was an avid traveler throughout the United States and abroad, she enjoyed peaceful drives along the Sea Coast and fun trips to the Casinos!!

She is survived by her loving son, Todd Arnold of Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida, 4 brothers, Michael Abisi of Lowell, MA, Frederick Abisi and his wife Patricia of Lowell, MA, Robert Abisi and his wife MaryEllen of Andover, MA, and Ronald Abisi and his wife Donna of Hampton, NH, her sister Joyce Anderson and her husband William of Dracut, MA. She has 9 very special Nieces and Nephews that she treasured along with 5 great nieces and nephews. She has many loving cousins, extended family and many wonderful Friends. Special thanks and Love to Cousin Carol Bednarowski of Manchester, NH, and longtime loving friends Ester Sayer of Newburyport, MA, Karen Faro of Salisbury, MA, Marie Capello of Hampton, NH, and Jack Neely of Lowell, MA for their friendship, love, support, and generosity during her life and throughout this difficult time.

We also wish to extend a special thank you to Fr. Leonard Faris of St. George's Orthodox Church for his Love, Friendship, and Compassion that he so generously gives to us all.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Thursday from 4 until 8 PM. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 9 AM, followed by her Funeral Service at 10 AM at St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lowell. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell. In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may make contributions in her memory to St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church, 44, Bowers Street, Lowell, MA 01854.
