Amy C. Orlando, age 38, passed away from cancer at the South Shore Hospital on Monday October 12, 2009. Amy is survived by her parents, Bruce and Joanne (Keefe) Orlando of S. Weymouth, her sister, Loretta Orlando of Basking Ridge, NJ, her aunt Suzanne Roeser of Trumbull, CT, her uncles Andy Keefe and his wife Kathy of Hanson and Paul Keefe and his wife Dee of Rockland, 1 great aunt Helen Poole of Milton, 2 great uncles Nick Topali of Newton and John Topali of Blairsville, GA and 4 cousins. Amy was born in Quincy, grew up and lived in Hingham for 26 years before moving to S. Weymouth 6 years ago. She graduated from Hingham High School in 1989, attended Laboure College for Medical Information, worked for several area hospitals and was presently attending Laboure College Nursing Program. A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday October 16 at 11:00 A.M. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Donations may be made in Amy’s memory to the St. Francis Xavier Church, 261 Pleasant St. S.
