Ray E. Tuttle, 58, of Wareham died peacefully on Sunday October 11, 2009 at Forestview Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Maryann (Palm) Tuttle.
Born and raised in Mattapoisett, the son of the late M. Duane and Irene S. (Austin) Tuttle, he lived in Wareham for the past 25 years.
Mr. Tuttle was formerly employed as a lead technician for the Polaroid Corporation in New Bedford.
He was a graduate of Old Rochester Regional High School, where he was an outstanding football player. He later played football for the Middleboro Cobras.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Amanda L. Tuttle and Carissa I. Tuttle, both of Wareham; two sisters, Marjorie J. Dumas of Mattapoisett and Kathryn L. Reilly of Wareham; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett. Burial will follow in Cushing Cemetery.
