Rita M. Nestor, 82, of Hampstead, NH died Sunday October 11, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Nestor was born in Lynn, MA on August 20, 1927, daughter of the late Henry V. and Hazel M. (Carpenter) Fournier. She had resided in Hampstead for the past 15 years, formerly living in Sandown, NH and Lynn.
She is survived by her two daughters, Trudy "Dee Dee" (Towne) Nestor of Hampstead, Roxanne Nestor of Naples, FL, one son, Francis "Jerry" Nestor of Cape Coral, FL, seven grandchildren, Rob Towne, Jeff Rasmussen, Sharon Letoile, Jill Burke, Jerry Mahan, Heidi Nestor and Jenna Nestor, 14 great-grandchildren, one brother, Hank Fournier and his wife Gail of Lynn, two sisters, Shirley Nordstrom of Lynn and Claire Shipman and her husband Kemp of Tennesee, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis G. Nestor in 1982.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services were held on Thursday October 15, 2009 at 10:30am at St. Anne Church, Emerson Rd., Hampstead. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 1E Common Dr., Unit 33, Londonderry, NH 03053. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH is handling arrangements.
