Joseph C. Fernandes, age 59, of Swansea, passed away Oct. 10, 2009. Husband of Jane (Medeiros) Fernandes & son of Ida Pedro. He was a self-employed Truck Driver for Carl Joyce Trucking & a member of the Mass. National Guard
He is survived by 2 Children, son: Joel Fernandes of Texas & Jill Romero of Fall River; 2 siblings: Carl Arruda & Ann Marie Burns; a granddaughter: Aniela Romero & several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Thursday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Anne’s Church at 10:00 AM. Interment To Be Determined.
