Leanora C. Vernacchio, 98 of Medford, died Friday in the Woodbriar of Wilmington.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford since 1952 and was the daughter of the late Giovanina (Iannelli) and Tomaso Rossetti.
Leanora was a Winder at General Electric before getting married. She was a member of the Medford Senior Citizens.
Beloved wife of the late John W. Vernacchio. Loving sister of Angelina Iannuzzi of Mississippi, and the late Anna Coliano, Edith Campagna, Esther Bush, Mary Tomasello and Stephen Rossetti. Dear aunt of John and Elaine Coliano of Winchester, Peter and Marion Tomasello of Westminster, Janet Zirilli of West Roxbury, Linda Mosley of Mississippi and Lillian Colosi of Florida.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family from 9-10:30 AM.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
