Joyce, Michael J., Of Marshfield and Venice, FL. Oct 8, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Anne (Culkeen) Joyce, dear father of Elizabeth “Betsy” McCarthy of Marshfield, Sean Joyce of Marshfield, Bartley Joyce of Haverhill, the late Breada McMaster and the late Kevin Joyce. Loving grandfather of Peter, Ashley, Emily, Daniel, Kristin, Tracey, Fallon, Sean and Samantha. Dear brother of Mary Naughton of Dorchester, Bridget Joyce of Braintree, the late Coleman, Patrick and Bartley Joyce. Brother-in-law of Bridie O’Toole Joyce and Michael Naughton.. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Michael was a railroad conductor for 48 years, starting with NYNH & Hartford Railroad and then retiring from Amtrak.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St.,rte. l39, Marshfield, Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann by The Sea Church at l0 a.m.
Visiting hours Monday 2 to 6 p.m.
Interment will be at a later date in the Couch Cemetery, Marshfield.
