Mary A. Vaudo (DeVasto), of Plymouth formerly of Somerville, passed away suddenly on October 8th at the Jordan Hospital at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Pasquale Vaudo, she is survived by her granddaughter Patricia “Trish” Krause and her husband Mark of Plymouth and her 2 great grandsons Andrew and Brendan Krause. Mother of the late Elda Cornelio and sister of the late Carmella Galeno. Born in Wildwood, NJ, she has lived in Plymouth for over a year. A seamstress for many years, she enjoyed baking, knitting, gardening, painting and especially spending time with her family. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th at St. Bonaventure’s Church in Plymouth at 10 AM followed by burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) on Monday, October 12th from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
