Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Michael L. Feener, 51, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 with his family by his side in the Addison Gilbert Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Wichita Falls, Texas on October 19, 1957, he was the son of Mary (Bailey) Feener. He was a graduate of the Gloucester High School class of 1975.
Mike had been employed for over sixteen years as a stock person at Stop & Shop.
He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Red Sox and Patriots. Known to be a great conversationalist, he had a gift for relating to people of all ages and walks of life. Mike was known by his family as a person with a heart of gold who would do anything for you. He loved spending his free time with his mother at Central Grammar Apartments. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his four siblings, Steve, husband of Paula Feener, Bill Feener, Paul, his twin, husband of Vicki Feener, and sister, Elizabeth Tracy, his half-brother, Scott Feener and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held today in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Addison Gilbert Hospital Hospice Unit, 298 Washington St., Gloucester, MA 01930.
