Clifford H. West Sr., 79, of Hudson, died on Tuesday, Oct. 6th with his loving family at his side at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
Born in Hudson, son of the late Clarence and Helen (Lively) West, Mr. West was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1957. He was employed as a machine operator for the former Lund International Co. in Hudson for 33 years.
He is survived by his five children, Sandra Karman and her husband James of Sudbury, Clifford West Jr. of New Hampshire, Richard West and his wife Judy of Charlton, Kenneth West of Marlboro and Alan West and his wife Stacey of Westboro; his two brothers, Clarence West and his wife Lee of Marlboro, Leon West and his wife Anne of Maine; his nine grandchildren, Austin, Connor, Calli, Christine, Brian, Jennifer, Corrine, Charles, Camden and was predeceased by his grandson Jason. He is also survived by his great granddaughter Elizabeth and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Friday, Oct. 9th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St. in Hudson. Funeral services and burial with Military Honors at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson will be held at the convenience of the family.
