Margaret Koladish, of Gilmanton, NH, passed away quietly surrounded by her family on October 3, 2009. She was the daughter of Wilfred John James Edgell and Edith Anne Williams of Bristol, England. She was raised in Schenectady, NY. She attended Mont Pleasant High School. Upon graduation she worked for General Electric and later entered the LPN program at the Child’s Hospital in Albany, NY. From there she moved to New York City where she met and married John Koladish, her husband of 61 years. She was a founding member of the Trinity Assembly of God in Derry, NH and later attended Manchester Assembly of God and Living Word Assembly of God in Gilmanton Iron Works. She resided in Derry for over 45 years.
Margaret was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family and friends, but most of all her God and His creation. She loved to pray, read her Bible, and go to church. We are so very thankful for her life and the "light she was" to all who knew her.
She had four children, William Koladish, Marilyn Piaseczny, John Koladish, and Carolyn Carson. She also had six grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and one brother, Ralph Edgell.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, October 7th from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 10:00am in the Trinity Assembly of God Church, 53 North Main St., Derry. The burial followed in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
