White, Doris R., 86, of Franklin, NH, on October 2, 2009 in Franklin. Mrs. White was born in Country Harbor, NS on October 31, 1922, a daughter of Rufus C. and Ruth (Mason) Read. She was a former resident of Framingham, MA.
Beloved aunt of, Beth Whittum, Clinton Read, David Read, Geoffrey Read, Leslie Read, Matthew Read, Paul Mason, and Wendy Kleis; sister-in-law of, Phyllis G. Read and Phyllis E. Read. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis W. White in 2000, her two brothers, Carmen Read and Robert Read, and her sister Alice Read.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31st at 10:00am in the Newton Cemetery in Newton, MA. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH is handling the arrangements.
