William D. Joyce, of East Bridgewater formerly of Plymouth, passed away suddenly on September 30th at Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Coose), he is survived by his daughter Lois Turner and her husband Thomas and his 3 cherished grandchildren Jennifer Ann, Melissa Ann and Amy Elizabeth all of E. Bridgewater. William was born in Somerville and had worked as a small parts machinist for Tubular Rivet Co. in Quincy for 50 years. He joined the U.S Navy in 1942 and served during WWII. He enjoyed wood working and spending time with his family. A private service will be held at the National Cemetery in Bourne.
