Nancy A. Joyce, age 63, died Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 30, 2009, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center, in Burlington, after a brief illness. Born in Winchester, Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late Helen V. (Dodd) & William Joyce.
Nancy was born and raised in Winchester, graduating from Winchester High School. After high school Nancy and her family moved to Woburn, where she resided until the year 2006. Most recently, Nancy lived in Peabody.
Nancy worked as an Administrative Assistant at Lahey Clinic. She retired in 1993. Nancy most enjoyed time with her family especially her loving grandchildren.
Nancy was the devoted mother of Thomas Maher and his wife Cindy of Woburn, Brian Maher of Methuen, Debbie Caliri and her husband John of Georgia. Loving grandmother of Christopher & Kylee Maher, Christina, John & Matthew Caliri, and Shane Maher. Beloved fiancé of Steve Vitagliano of Peabody. Sister of Richard Joyce, his wife Elaine of NH, Robert Joyce, his wife Rosemary of Chelmsford, and the late William "Billy" Joyce.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Tuesday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8.
Interment will be private.
