Marie A. (Morse) Amero of Blackstone St., died Wednesday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Amero. She was born in Franklin a daughter of the late Walter and Blanche (Boulanger) Morse. Mrs. Amero was a devoted mother and homemaker, and is survived by a son, Maurice Scanlon of Woonsocket, eight daughters; Carol Tyler of Milford, Suzanne Eisnor of Woonsocket, Cindy Fitzgerald of Woonsocket, Annette Fitzgerald of Manville, Michelle Roberts of ID, Sheryl Kephart of CA, Vicki Plante of NV, and Renee Bordes of NV, thirty five grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, and a sister Carol Ficco of Franklin, MA. She was also the mother of the late William Scanlon, Joseph Amero Jr., Helen Scanlon, and Marie Amero, and was a sister of the late Joseph Morse. Her funeral will be held Monday from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin, MA. Visitation will be Sunday 3-6PM.
