Henry “Hank” N. Wazan, 79 of Norfolk and Nantucket died September 30 in the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. He was the husband of Patricia (Briddell) Wazan.
Born in New York City, March 1, 1930, the son of the late Henry and Norma (Wernett) Wazan, Mr. Wazan was raised in New York City and had lived in Norfolk for the past 47 years.
Mr. Wazan was a graduate of the Pratt Institute in New York with a BS in Architecture and he received his Masters Degree for the University of Pennsylvania in Building Design.
Mr. Wazan had worked for the Rohm & Haas Company for 27 years in the building products department.
Mr. Wazan enjoyed golfing, working around his homes and traveling.
He especially loved going to Portugal and his dream had been to build his own home in the Town of Sintra in Portugal and move there. His health made this dream not come true.
Mr. Wazan also spent many enjoyable years at his home in Nantucket.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kristina M. Molinari of Medway, Paige F. Fabrizio of McDonough, GA, Jeanne V. Caspe of Nantucket and Derek H. Wazan of Norfolk.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Troy, Nicholas, Gino, Jeremey, Marina and Kylie.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3 in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Norfolk Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Saturday from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
