Obituary

TAUNTON – Terrence N. Turner, husband of Patricia M. (Lopes) Turner, died at the VA Medical Center of West Roxbury on Sept. 27, 2009 after a lengthy illness.
He was 68.
Born and raised in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Everett and Coralena (Williams) Turner.
A graduate of Hope High School in Providence, he later served as a paratrooper with the, 508th Infantry, 3rd Army Division, during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Turner resided in Taunton for the past 40 years, where he was employed as a driver by the Bloom Bus Co., and a member of McGrath’s Fish Club.
He retired several years ago. In addition to his wife of Taunton, he leaves two daughters, Tulissa Clemon and her husband Gary of Fall River, and Jasmine Perry of Taunton; Two brothers, Everett Turner of Providence and Edward Williams of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy Ann Wilson of Providence; three grandchildren, Aliyan and Tayson Turner, and Elijah Volcy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Clive Turner.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Friday Oct. 2nd at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary Church at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Oct 1st from 5 to 8 pm.
