EMMERICH, John J. Of Needham September 21, beloved husband of Audrey K. (O'Neil) Emmerich for 59 years. Jack was a terrific father and grandfather, sharing his love of woodworking, outdoors, skiing and games with the children. He was an accomplished metal worker, including fabricating old brass camera film cases and keys for the Smithsonian Institute.
Devoted father of Katherine E. Hersh and her husband Lawrence M. of Nashua NH, Barbara J. Barakat and husband Gilbert of Wareham, Denise Sullivan and her husband John Sylvan of Needham, Christine A. Koester and her husband Stephan of Shrewsbury. Brother of the late Edward Emmerich. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., (Exit 19B off Rte 128) NEEDHAM Tuesday at 9:30 am. Funeral Mass in St Susanna's Church Dedham at 10 am.
