Walter T. Eddy, 73, Resident of Londonderry, NH formerly of Malden, MA, died of a lengthy illness on September 26, 2009. He died at The Hospice House of Merrimack, NH surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Eddy had worked as a supervisor at Mutual Oil of Brockton, MA. He loved woodworking in his shed.
He was the beloved husband of Marcia J. (George) Eddy, son of the late Ethel M. Eddy and Harold M. Eddy, brother of the late Harold M. Eddy Jr. He was the beloved father of Mark Eddy of Waldo, ME, Cheryl (Eddy) Burke, of Whitman, MA, Scott Eddy and his wife Suzanne (Letizia) Eddy of Hingham, MA, Dawn (Eddy) Tocco and her husband Alfred L. Tocco Jr., of Londonderry, NH, and Kyle Eddy and his wife Jennifer (Morris) Eddy of Lawrence, MA. He was the beloved grandfather of Shane, Eric, and Sara Eddy of Waldo, ME, Sean Murphy of Weymouth, MA, Amanda and Tyler Eddy of Hingham, MA, and Antonia and Nicholas Tocco of Londonderry, NH. He was also a beloved brother-in-law.
Calling hours were held on Monday September 28, 2009 from 5- 7:00 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A memorial service followed at 7:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Hospice House of Merrimack, NH.
