Iris Wheeler M. Evjen, 87, Clarksville, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at Montgomery Care & Rehab. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday at Beautiful Saviors Lutheran Church, corner of Whitfield Blvd and 101st Parkway with Pastor Matthew Brown officiating. The remains are to be cremated. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Iris May Evjen, 87, of Clarksville,TN, formerly of Rochester, died of Alzheimer on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at Montgomery Care and Rehab Center in Clarksville.
Iris was born on Oct. 21, 1921. She was married to Owen Evjen on June 30, 1940 until his death in Dec. of 1995.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Piano,(Tony), of Bradenton FL., Darlene Tocco, (Peter), of Hubertus, WI., and Pamela Bridges (Jim) of Clarksville, TN., five grandchildren, one granddaughter preceded her in death, eleven Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren. A sister Sherry Routledge, (Floyd) of Eyota,MN and a brother, Lyle Wheeler, (Barbara) of Rochester, MN., and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service will will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday Nov. 7, 2009 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home in Rochester . Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer Association.
