Bobby Randall Yawn, 76, of Summerville, husband of Vivian Reba Proveaux Yawn, died Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 1:30 PM at James A Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Family and friends may call from 6 until 8 o’clock this evening at James A Dyal Funeral Home.

Mr. Yawn was born September 24, 1933, son of the late Preston H. Yawn and Sarah Kinard Yawn. He graduated from North Charleston High School. He enjoyed bowling. He retired from the United States Air Force as Master Sergeant. He served from October 1950 to April 1971. He was the owner of Bobby’s Amoco & Conditioned Air. He attended Summerville Family Worship Center.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: 1 Son: Mitch Randall Yawn of Summerville; 1 Daughter: Glynna R. Yawn Pate of Granbury, TX; 1 Granddaughter: Katie Yawn of Summerville; 2 Grandsons: Murphy Yawn of Pittsburg, PA and Zachary Pate of Granbury, TX; 1 Brother: Preston H. Yawn (Pam) of Valdosta, GA; 1 Sister: Linda Howell of Knoxville, TN. He was predeceased in death by 3 Brothers: Ronald W. Yawn, Carl Yawn and Larry Yawn.
