Anna Marie Councillor Jolly, 73, Clarksville went to be with the Lord, died Thursday, September 24, 2009, at Gateway Memorial Center. The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Robertson and Rev. Terry Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday and from 2:00 PM until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born December 18, 1935 in Wilmington, Delaware daughter of the late James E. Councillor and Alma Ruth Thomas Councillor. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church and a devoted military homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Raymond L. Jolly,retired USAF; son, James Roy Jolly (Diane), Spring Hope, NC; two daughters, Joyce Jolly, and Jewel Jolly-Cole, both of Clarksville; two stepsons,Raymond S. Jolly (Jane), Prescott Valley, AZ; and Charles Jolly (Vicki), Granite City, IL; step-daughter, Brenda Howie, Granite City, IL; a sister, Grace Ludwig, New Castle, Delaware; a grandson, Raymond J. Jolly; twenty two step-grandchildren, forty five great-grandchildren,five great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-son, Larry Jolly; a step-daughter, Linda Williams; a brother, James Edward Councillor, Jr; and a sister, Betty Ferguson.
