Beloved mother of Janet Backman and her husband Robert of Quincy. Dear sister of Elsie Russell of Topsfield, Nancy Walsh of Florida and the late Doris Metrano, D. Peter Finnigan and Pauline Coakley. Cherished grandmother of Brian Backman of Quincy, Eric Backman of Weymouth and Robin Clausen of Natick. Also lovingly survived by her great grandchildren Brianna Backman and Jenna Clausen as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Saturday, September 26th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Jospeh's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10 o'clock. Services will conclude with interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Danvers.
Born in Somerville and a long time Malden resident, Connie, at 93 years of age, passed away Monday afternoon at the Pope Nursing Home in Weymouth were she had been receiving suportive care.
