Thurman, Marietta Mae (Sweasy), 90, passed away Saturday at Rockford Manor. She was born in Bloomfield, KY to
John & Naomi (Greer) Sweasy. She was Co-Owner of Thurman Electric Service for over forty years. She was a
member of 1st Baptist Church of Leitchfield.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband: Arthur C. Thurman; a Son: Donald Thurman; & 1 Sister: Gladys Webb.
Survivors include her children: Harold R. Thurman; Barbara Hernandez (John); Judy T. Evans; Cathy Petty (Rick);
9 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren; and her Loving Companion, Michael James.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday 11:00 AM (9/22/09) at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 1 - 9 PM Monday. Expressions of Sympathy: Alzheimers Association
