In Middleboro, September 18, 2009 Jean L. (Adams) wife of Robert Freiday Sr. died in her home peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 75. Born and raised in Taunton, Jean was the daughter of the late Ovila P. and Emma (Stevens) Adams. She was educated from St. Mary’s High School graduating in 1952 then went on to St. Ann’s Nursing School in Fall River class of 1955, she also attended Boston University. Jean lived in Middleboro for the last fifteen years and also spent time living in Lakeville. Jean worked at Morton Hospital in Taunton as a Registered Nurse in the O.R. and in the E.R.. She spent the majority of the time working as a Psychological Nurse for many state hospitals and private hospitals, and was also a licensed Real-estate Broker. Jean donated her time for the former Circle of the Blind which was located in the city of Taunton. Jean was the loving mother of Robert W. Freiday Jr. of Tampa Fl, Susan M. Freiday of Middleboro, Melissa J. Ruff and her husband Thomas of Hopkinton, Joseph T. Freiday Sr. and his wife Maureen of Middleboro and the late David J. Freiday. Grandmother of Joseph T. Freiday Jr. and Morgan G. Freiday both of Middleboro, Wyatt E. Ruff and Dylan T Ruff both of Hopkinton. Sister of Claretta Desmond of Swansea, Maureen Hayston and her husband Robert of Taunton and the late Robert F. Murray. Sister in-law of Ruth Murray of Raynham. Aunt of several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Thursday, September 24th at 10 am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Taunton at 11 am. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
