SGM. (Retired) Richard Allen Parshall, 67, Clarksville, died Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home with Rev. Ward Carver officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born January 16, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN. He was the son of Dana Edward Parshall and Leona B. Miller Parshall. He was retired from the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. He is survived by his wife Leanne Parshall of Clarksville; two sons, Karl Parshall and Michael Parshall both of Pleasant View; one daughter, Connie Powell of Finleyville, PA; one brother, Robert Parshall of Auburndal, FL. Six grandchildren, Reanna, Amanda, and Christopher Powell and Jessica, Cody and Samantha Parshall. He was preceded in death by a grandson, James Parshall.
