FORDE, JOHN J. of Sudbury passed away peacefully on September 17, 2009 at home surrounded by his family. Survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Sharon (Leszek) Forde of Sudbury. Loving father of Christopher Roger Forde of Jacksonville, Fla. Naval Air Base. Son of the late Roger and Josephine Forde of Brighton. Brother of Maureen Quinlan and her husband Paul of Warwick, RI and brother-in-law of Clare Forde of Albion, RI. Also survived by his 4 beloved nieces and their families. He was predeceased by his brother Kevin Forde. John was a graduate of Boston College. He was a Navy helicopter combat Search and Rescue pilot in Squadron HC-7 in Vietnam. He worked for Digital Equipment for 23 years. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Road, Sudbury. His funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church.
