Eddie Mae Nolin Willis, 90, of Tifton died Friday, September 18, 2009, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2009, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joseph Crumley will officiate with burial to follow in Salem Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20, 2009, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Willis was born on February 2, 1919 in Dale County, Alabama and was the daughter of Eddie H. Nolin and Tommie N. Lavender Nolin, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Parker Willis; three sons, Eddie Lee Willis, Wayne Carroll Willis and Russell Parker Willis; one brother, T. C. Nolin; and one sister, Annie Nolin Beasley. She was a homemaker and retired from Davis Brothers Restaurant. She was a member of Carpenter Road Church of God and had lived in Tift County since 1936.
Mrs. Willis is survived by one son, Gibson Willis of Tallahassee, Florida; one daughter, Myra Williams of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
