Roland G. Vanasse 75, of Transit St. died Sunday at home. He was the husband of late Lorraine (Lincourt) Vanasse. Mr. Vanasse was born in Woonsocket a son of the late William and Bernadette (Laporte) Vanasse. He was a custodian for the Woonsocket Education Department for seventeen years retiring in 1996.
Mr. Vanasse is survived by three children, David, Bruce, and Cynthia Vanasse all of Woonsocket, a brother Henry Vanasse of Woonsocket, two sisters Rita Plouffe of Woonsocket and Lorraine Laliberte of N. Smithfield, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Normand Vanasse.
Visiting hours will be held Friday 6-8 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
