Don Treworgy, planetarium director at the Mystic Seaport and a Seaport employee for nearly 50 years, died at his home in Noank Sunday afternoon after a brief battle with cancer. He was 70.
In addition to his wife, Lynn Anderson, Treworgy leaves two brothers and their wives, a sister, a brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews, according to an obituary Anderson wrote.
His body has been donated to the Yale Medical School. A Memorial Service will be held at a date to be announced.
