Obituary

BELLINGHAM—Ingmarie (Johanson) Wiggin-Morrissey 85, of Bellingham, died Saturday September 12, 2009 at University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Gordon Wiggin who died in 1965 and William Morrissey who died in 1997.
Born July 11, 1924 in Stockholm, Sweden a daughter of the late Erik and Astrid (Olson) Johanson, she had been a resident of Bellingham for the past five years and was a former resident of Franklin and Norfolk.
She was raised and educated in Sweden, and came to the United States in 1933 and settled in Norfolk. Until her retirement many years ago, she worked for the King Philip Regional High School as their matron, and also worked for the Norfolk Prison in the switchboard area.
Her interests included traveling, word searches, crocheting, and bird watching.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived her children Bruce E. Wiggin of Yarmouth, Robert E. Wiggin of Norfolk, William G. Wiggin of Plymouth and Sandra L. LeDrew of Bellingham. Also surviving are her grandchildren Chad Wiggin, Christy Hayes, David, Jason, Melissa, and Todd Wiggin, Erik LeDrew, Timothy Wiggin, Steven & Jennifer LeDrew, and seven great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Gloria M. Anderson

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday September 17, at 10AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, (www.franklinfuneral.com).
Interment will follow at the family lot in Union Street Cemetery, Franklin.
Calling hours are Wednesday September 16th, from 6-8PM.
