Thomas A.Walker, 91, of Vestal, New York, formerly of Smithfield, died Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Binghamton. He was the husband of the late Loma (McKay) Walker.
Born in Syracuse, New York , a son of the late Thomas and Sarah (Salmon) Walker. Mr. Walker was an Army veteran of WWII. He was the vice president of Crowley Foods in Binghamton, NY until retiring.
He is survived by his children, Thomas A. Walker, Jr. and his wife, Ann Marie of Viera, FL, Joseph R. Walker and his wife, Cynthia of Smithfield, M. Patricia Monaco and her husband, John A. and Marjorie S. Cinti and her husband, David all of Vestal, NY, Ann W. Griffin and her husband James R. of Londonderry, NH, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Daniel J. Walker and brother of the late William Walker and Mary Swanson.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI. Burial will military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm in the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
