LOWELL - Ronald E. Christopher, 65, a resident of Lowell, died Sunday, September 13th, at Lowell General Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Wilmington on January 19,1944, and he was a son of the late John and Mary (Pimental) Christopher. He attended Wilmington schools and he was a graduate of Wilmington High School, class of 1962.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Christopher was employed for 20 years as the Facilities Manager by American Training Inc. in Lawrence. Earlier in his career, he worked as a mason for DGR Builders in Billerica.
His greatest joy was spending time in the company of his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes, pool, card games, and going kayaking.
He was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell.
He is survived by two daughters, Lauren Lovett and her husband Michael of Creve Coeur, MO, and Alison Bilodeau of Dracut; his former wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Christopher of Dracut; five grandchildren, Emma Lovett, 4, Nina Lovett, 1, Luke Lovett, 1, Cash Lovett, 1, and Morgan Bilodeau, 5; two brothers, John Christopher and his wife Gladys, and Wayne Christopher, all of FL; a sister Elaine Leverone and her husband Fred of FL; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Wednesday from 3 until 7 PM. His Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 9 AM followed by his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Michael Church in Lowell.
