Mildred (Ansin) Kaplan 0f Peabody and formerly of Revere passed away on August 23, 2009. She was 92 years old. Born in Revere, MA she was a resident of Revere for many years. She was educated in the Revere schools. Mildred was a secretary for the Liberty Mutual Insurance company before her retirement.
Mildred was a life member of the Jewish Memorial Hospital and a Life member of the Everett Senior Social Club. She belonged to the Sisterhood at Congregation Tifereth Israel of Revere and the Sisterhood at Tifereth Israel of Everett. Mildred also belonged to Hadassah and the Peter A. Torigian Community Life Center.
She was the devoted mother of Ronald Kaplan and his wife Deborah, son-in-law John Cimino. Mildred was also the loving mother of the late Linda Cimino and Michael Kaplan. She was the dear sister of the late Charlotte Ross. Mildred was the loving grandmother of Aaron and David Kaplan.
A Chapel Service will be held at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Cary Sq., Chelsea on Thursday, September 17, at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at the Tifereth Israel of Revere Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett. Memorial observance will be Thursday following interment only at her late residence.
