Oxford... Virginia A. (Blais) Anderson, 78, formerly of Spruce St., passed away, Monday, September 7, 2009 in Oakwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Webster.
Her husband of 50 years, Alton J. Anderson died April 29, 2002.
She leaves 3 sons, Gary J. Anderson, Bruce D. Anderson and Greg R. Anderson, all of Oxford. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Virginia was born in Worcester, daughter of Elie N. and Hazel E. (Brown) Blais and has lived in Oxford since 1955.
She was the "Cafeteria Lady" at Oxford Middle School for many years, before retiring.
Virginia was also a Life Member of the Oxford American Legion Post #58, Ladies Auxillary.
There are no calling hours.
Graveside Services will be Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 10AM at North Cemetery in Oxford.
