Mrs. Pauline Arthur Franklin, 85, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Thursday, September 3, 2009, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, September 8 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Franklin was born March 20, 1924 in Franklin County, Alabama to the late Leonard Asbury and Adell Hester Arthur. She has been a resident of Vero Beach, Florida for the past 3 years from Kissimmee, Florida. Mrs. Franklin was an Accountant, retiring after 25 years from the Osceola County Tax Collector’s Office. Mrs. Franklin was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kissimmee, Florida, a member of the Florida Gator Booster Club and was a Bridge player.
She is survived by two sisters: Ophelia Daner of Vero Beach, FL and Nadine Wallace of Mobile, AL as well as 3 nephews. In Addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Franklin.
