Robert L. Abraham 87, of 3 Malden St. died Tuesday, Aug. 12, at St. Francis Home, after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 62 years, Margaret (Dolan) Abraham, three sons, William R. and his wife Kathleen F. Abraham of Worcester, Brian T. and his wife Jacqueline A. Abraham of Atkinson, NH and James D. Abraham of Holland; four grandsons and a granddaughter; three great-grandsons; and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of William F. and Emma C. (Grenon) Abraham. He graduated from Commerce High School.
He was a Patrolman for the Worcester Police Dept. for 31 years, retiring in 1975.
He was a member of St. Christopher’s Church, the Worcester Police Relief Association, and a member of the Mendelssohn Singers.
A private Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Aug 16, at 10 a.m. in Saint Christopher’s Church 950 West Boylston St. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to, St. Francis Home 101 Plantation St. Worcester 01604.
