Daniel D. Keegan age 89 of Canton passed away September 1st at the Caritas Norwood Hospital. Born in Boston, he was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High and has lived in Canton for the last 53 years. He was a Coast Guard Veteran of WW II and worked as a Welder for the New York/New haven Railroad, he also worked as a Mechanic and a Welder for UHaul & Stop & Shop in Readville. He was a Volunteer for the Canton Food Pantry for many years. Beloved husband of the late Lois E. (Vernon). Father of Donna J. Ouzounian & her husband Gregory of Canton, Elaine Crowley of Clinton & Danette Keegan of R.I. Also survived by 7 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday morning at 11. Visiting hours prior to the service from 10 – 11 am. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society 1115 W. Chestnut St. Brockton, MA 02301.
