Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting Hours Thursday and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
Obituary
Olga I. Alicea died unexpectedly Tuesday at Morton Hospital in Taunton after being stricken ill at her home. Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, daughter of Edelmira (Rivera) Alicea of Brockton and the late Juan Alicea. Seventeen years ago she moved to Brockton. She received her associates degree from Roxbury Community College. She was a family day care provider for many years. Long time member of Good Samaritan Church in Brockton, where she was an assembly person and taught Sunday school.
Survived by two daughters Vivian Gonzalez of Fall River and OlgaDela Cruz of Taunton, her mother Edelmira Alicea of Brockton, five sisters, Rosa Adorno of Puerto Rico, Doris Alicea of Puerto Rico, Carmen Alicea of E. Taunton, Ana Alicea of Puerto Rico and Carmen Heredia of Brockton, a brother William Alicea of E. Taunton, 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Daughter of the late Juan Alicea and sister of the late Luis and Jose Alicea.
