AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at Doctors Hospital, Mrs. Mary Louise Essick, 85, wife of the late Fred K. Essick.
Mrs. Essick was a native of Lake City, SC and had resided in Augusta most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Family members include her daughters: Deborah Edmunds Johnson and husband Jimpsey of Augusta; Mary Edmunds Walter and husband Arthur of Columbia, SC; son: Andrew K. Edmunds, Jr. and wife Jane of Augusta; sister: Billie Carter of Lake City, SC; Amanda Edmunds Wicklum of Augusta, Marsha Edmunds Trotter of Montgomery, AL, Andrea Edmunds of Augusta, Andrew Taylor Walter of Columbia, Payne Coles Walter of Columbia, Jenna Leigh Johnson of Augusta and 3 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Linda Birchall officiating. The family will recieve friends at the graveside.
