Obituary

Mary J. (Buckley) Kelley, 84, of New Bedford passed peacefully on Sunday August 30, 2009 at Sacred Heart Home after a period of declining health. She was the loving and devoted wife of Thomas E. Kelley to whom she was married for 58 years.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the John and Anne (Cusick) Buckley, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Mary was a graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy in Fall River and was employed by the Fall River Herald News until her marriage.
She was an active member of St. Lawrence, Martyr Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband Thomas, are her daughter Anne Kelley-Jennett, her son-in-law Jonathan Jennett, and her beloved granddaughter Jillian Jennett.
She was the sister of the late Arthur and John Buckley.
Mary was a special person. She was known for her kind and thoughtful nature. She was loved and will be dearly missed by many.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
