VINCENT, GARLAND W. "VINCE," 81, of Louisville passed away Sunday August 23,2009 at Jewish Hospital.
A native of Leitchfield, KY, he was a member of Kosmosdale Baptist Church, a retired truck driver for Allied Ready Mix, and presently worked for Meijer Inc. Dixie Hwy. He was a proud member of Teamsters Local # 89 and a self-employed grass cutter.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Lester, Earl, Kenneth and Percy Vincent.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Verda (Davis) Vincent; four children, Judy Jupin (Fred), Janice Pinnick (Gordon), Gary Vincent (Beverly), and Duane Vincent (Tina); 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Bethany Cemetery . Visitation: Tuesday, 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
