Deo Van Nguyen, 59, of Tifton died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2009, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Le Kiet will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Nguyen was born on May 20, 1950 in Vietnam and was the son of Deo Van Nguyen, deceased. He was a fisherman and a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
Mr. Nguyen is survived by his wife, Ut Thi Phan of Tifton; two sons, Thanh Van Nguyen of Alaska and Loc Van Nguyen of Vietnam; two daughters, Dieu Thi Nguyen and Loan Ut Thi Nguyen, both of Vietnam; one brother, Ba Van Nguyen of Vietnam; one sister, Muoi Thi Nguyen of Vietnam; and seven grandchildren.
