Mr. Willis L. "Buddy" Singletary, age 79, of Kennesaw, GA, died Sunday, August 23, 2009.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m at the Shady Grove Baptist Church, Marietta, GA with Rev. Bill King and Rev. Tom Cocklereece officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Kennesaw, GA. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009 ath the funeral home in Kennesaw.
Mr. Buddy Singletary was born in Thomasville, GA and grew up in Irwinville, GA. He retired from Lockheed Martin after 41 years of service and was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church, Marietta, GA for nearly 60 years.
