Winstel, John Stephen age 85 of Jeffersontown passed away Sunday August 23, 2009 .
He attended Jeffersontown Methodist church, he was a ww11 army veteran.
He retired after over 20 years as a meat Cutter for the Armor meat co. and a member of local 227 Meat Cutters union.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rosie Mae , daughters Diane and Kennethia and sister Mary Phillips.
He is survived by his children Linda M. Hedges, Susan McClosky And John S. Winstel Jr. Brother Hover Winstel. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services 11 am Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial Highland Memory gardens cemetery.
Visitation Tuesday from 2 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
