Obituary

SALEM - Stacia A. (Mizioch) Wrobleski, 84, of Salem, wife of the late Stephen W. Wrobleski, died Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the Salem Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Amelia (Iwanowski) Mizioch. She was a graduate of Salem High School and the Salem Business School.

An Army Veteran of WWII, she served with the 9770th Technical Service Unit and attained the rank of Technician 5th Grade.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the personnel office at CBS Hytron in Danvers.

Stacia resided in Salem until moving to Portsmouth, New Hampshire in the mid 1980's and returned to Salem following the death of her husband in 2002. She was a parishioner of the St. John The Baptist Church in Salem.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Joan Slattery, Mary Ann Stasinos, Susan Stanley, George Kingsley, all of Danvers, Elaine Hale of Marlboro, Victoria Materkowski of Peabody, Steven Materkowski of Amesbury, Ken Mizioch and Paul Steven of Salem, Peter Mizioch and Gregory Mizioch of Arizona, Joseph Mizioch of Ipswich, Christine Clemenzi of Fremont, NH and Phillip Kowalski of Gloucester. She was the sister of the late Jane Materkowski, Edward Mizioch and John Mizioch.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 9 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am at the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem. Visiting hours are Monday, 4 to 7 pm in the funeral home. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem.
