Gloria Wyatt Wright, 66, Clarksville, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Joel Nulty and Rev. Debbie McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 5, 1943 in Trigg County, KY daughter of the late Leon Jackson Wyatt and Mary Magdalene Joiner Wyatt. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Jenkins and a brother, Lyle Wyatt. She was a retired medical office manager. Survivors include her husband, Terry Wright; two sons. Chris Wright (Robin), Dover, TN; and Greg Jenkins (Terri), Clarksville; two brothers, Jack Wyatt, Leggett, TX; and Travis Wyatt, Tennessee Ridge, TN; three sisters, Anna Sanford, Cumberland City, TN; Joy Brown, Tennessee Ridge, TN; and Gail Kenner, New Concord, KY; and seven grandchildren. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
