Jimmie Franks, 70, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at her home in Coffeeville, MS. She was born in Oakland, MS to the late John and Maggie Langham Lawson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Independent Full Gospel Church in Vardaman, MS.
A visitation will be held in the chapel at Broom Cemetery from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, August 20, 2009. The graveside service will be held in Broom Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Johnny Davidson officiating.
Mrs. Franks is survived by two daughters, Debi Prescott of Greenwood, MS and Jennifer Franks Dalton of Coffeeville, MS; one son of Elvis Wayne Caulder of Black Hawk, MS; six grandchildren, Michael Frith I, Matthew Buckingham, Jeremy Caulder, Lauri Caulder, Dana Dalton, and Dylan Dalton; and three great grandchildren, Lexis Frith, Michael Frith II, and Lauryn Buckingham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Delorse Frady and Maggie Fancher; and two brothers, Johnny Lawson and Barry Lawson.
