KISH, Margaret, age 96 of Oradell, NJ, formerly of Astoria, Queens, passed away at home on Sunday, August 16th, 2009.
Born in Hungary, she came to the United States in 1949 with her daughter, Ethel. Her beloved husband, Joseph, died at the battle of Anzio in Italy during Word War II. Loving Mother of Ethel Betterbid. Dear Grandmother of Thomas Betterbid and his wife Elissa (of Wayne, NJ) and Laura DeSantis and her husband Jamison (of Mahwah, NJ). Beloved Great Grandmother of Robert, Henry and Sally Betterbid. Devoted Aunt to Aniko and Attila of Hungary
A funeral service will begin at 9:00 a.m., today, at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. Then to St. Joe’s RCC in Oradell for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.
