EAST BROOKFIELD; Frances M. (Neri) Fargnoli, 96, passed away Thursday, August 13 at Quaboag on the Common in West Brookfield. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph Fargnoli who died in 1979 and was a resident of East Brookfield since 1936.
She was born in South Barre, MA. in 1913 to John and Filomena (Riale) Neri.
She leaves a daughter, Joan Little, with whom she resided, a granddaughter , Michelle Kularski and two great-grandchildren, Keri Robertson and Stanley Kularski, Jr., a sister, Vera Gigante, two nephews, Dominic Gigante and Jack Fargnoli. A brother Frank pre-deceased her.
Frances worked at the Barre Wool Combing Company, The hat factory in East Brookfield and Gavitt Wire in Brookfield. She also operated a small Luncheonette, Fargnoli’s Grill in East Brookfield for a short time.
Frances loved to cook. She also enjoyed going to the race track and betting on the horses. She was a fixture at her daughter’s beauty salon, where she helped out in many ways. She enjoyed being with people and was a friend to everyone. Frances will be remembered for her great smile and for being so generous, nice, helpful and forgiving. She would put herself last and was very humble.
The family Thanks the Staff at Quaboag for there excellent care during the past four years.
To Respect her wishes there are no calling hours or Services at this time. A Memorial Mass and Burial will be at a latter date.
